As precious as they all are, many children do not have the same benefits, privileges, and opportunities. In developing countries, poverty is widespread; children are not given an education and do not enjoy the simple pleasures of a child's life. Children in these countries are hungry, lack clothing for harsh weather conditions, do not possess basic toiletries, books, toys, or even the freedom to be a child.

The Sapphire Project, through its Little Sapphires initiative, works in these countries to provide these basic comforts that bring joy to these valued children.
